Dairy and Eggs

All of our milk, cream and butter comes from Ivy House Farm in Beckington near Frome. Ivy House Farm is an organic dairy farm farmed by Geoff & Kim Bowles, all part of the farming family. They milk a herd of 120 Jersey cows as well as rearing all of their own calves and aiming to grow all their feed for the animals from the clover rich pastures surrounding the farm. Jersey cows are notorious for their rich and creamy milk and combining this with the traditional methods that Geoff and Kim use, Ivy House Farm dairy products are far superior in taste and quality than more commercially produced dairy.

Our eggs are all from our free range hens that we have here on our farm. We currently have a flock of 150 Light Sussex crossed with Rhode Island Red hens that produce aprroximately 100 eggs daily.
