DESCRIPTION:Pumpkins incoming! \nForget fields of gold\, the paddock is about to turn into a field of orange! \nBring your little farmers along to help choose the perfect pumpkin.  Enjoy free carving and painting with any pumpkin purchase\, and keep the mess in the paddock instead of in your kitchen. \nThe bouncy castle will be up daily too.  The perfect way for little ones to burn off some energy\, get some fresh air and messy play all in one spot. \nAll activities will be subject to weather. If there is heavy rain or winds\, we will have to close temporarily for safety reasons. \nWe will also have lantern making available on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st\, although we recommend booking this in advance.

They provide cognitive rehabilitation sessions via their day centre\, personalised 1-1 support with their rehabilitation assistants and activities designed to increase independence and confidence following life changing injury.  \nThe fantastic Pipley will be getting the party started with their lively toe-tapping music and dances for all to enjoy.  In their words ‘Chaotic\, hilarious mayhem is actively encouraged‘ so come and give it a go! \nWe will have food and drink available to buy on the night. \nA percentage of profits will be donated to Headway Bath\, so the more friends you bring\, and the more you eat and drink\, the more we can donate!! \nHEADWAY RAFFLE \nWe have a fab selection of raffle prizes to win\, so whether you can attend the dance or not\, you can still support Headway and be in with a chance of winning something wonderful!  Buy a single ticket here for £2 or a strip of 5 for £5. \nPlease bear in mind\, the venue is literally a barn\, so bring plenty of layers for before and after the dancing! \n  \nOnline ticket sales will close at 3pm on the 15th November. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Our pollinators are in peril; bumblebees\, solitary bees and honey bees are all under threat from the modern-day onslaught of pesticides\, habitat loss and intensive agriculture. Yet between them\, the almost 300-species of UK bee\, along with other pollinators\, are responsible for more than a third of everything we eat.\n\n\nIn March\, Richard Rickitt\, one of the UK’s best-known beekeepers and co-editor of BeeCraft magazine\, will be joining Winsley Nature Chain at Hartley Farm to share with us ways in which we can help save the bees.\n\n\nThis fascinating and richly illustrated talk will introduce many of the bee species found in the UK and explain how you can help to save them by creating a pollinator oasis in your garden.  To quote Richard – My talks are richly and clearly illustrated and designed to fascinate and amaze – and there are always a few laughs.\n\n\nRichard keeps around 30 colonies of his own bees as well as a few more for some high-profile locations and individuals. You’ll taste some salad leaves and herbs\, and then you’ll head on your way with fresh salad bag under arm\, and seeds to sow at home.

DESCRIPTION:Join Olivia for her wonderful musical Easter Egg Hunt in the Paddock. \nThis event will begin with a fun-filled\, interactive Easter Egg Hunt\, then there will be live music with the guitar\, interactive puppet play\, Hokey Cokey and a big bubble disco! Suitable for 0 – 5’s but older siblings are welcome too! \nThis event is likely to be hosted OUTSIDE\, although if the weather isn’t great we will re-locate inside to our regular room on site. Please bring a blanket/ camping chair to sit on. The event will be 1 hour long and there will be an opportunity to stay and play/ chat after. \nMusical shakey eggs will be hidden in the grounds of the venue and then you can exchange them for a chocolate Easter egg or some stickers. \nIf you’d like to go for lunch after the event do make sure you book a table. All levels welcome.\nIn these relaxed sessions\, we will take inspiration from natural objects (provided in the class) and learn how to record what we observe in pencil and paint. \nGrace will guide you through a range of techniques and methods when working with watercolour\, which you can enjoy applying to your own mini-masterpiece throughout the session. \nCompletely relaxed creative environment\, with an opportunity to purchase drinks and snacks. \nAll materials are provided.  Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting painty (though watercolour does wash off). \nMake the most of this fab introductory price! DESCRIPTION:We are opening our farm gates once more to give you a peek behind the scenes at Hartley. \nHop on our tractor trailer (book separately below) for a tour around the farm and then head back to the paddock for a day of fun in the great outdoors. \nChloe’s Farm will be joining us with a crew of animals to get up close and personal with. \nWildflowers Forest School will be here with some wonderful forest school shenanigans. \nPlus our usual favourites; face painting and bouncy castle! \nGrab a feed at our Garden Kitchen whilst soaking up our beautiful garden and then head back to the paddock for some more fun and frolics. \nBOOK YOUR TRACTOR RIDES HERE- These tend to sell out before the event\, so don’t delay booking. \nTickets will be on sale until 4pm on Friday 15th May. After this point\, you will need to buy them on the gate\, on the day. \n  \nFAQs \nTickets\nYou do not need to print anything\, just show us your confirmation email on arrival.  This is also the case for tractor rides- no need to collect or print anything\, just provide the booking name when you arrive. \nCan I bring my dog?\nUnfortunately dogs will not be allowed inside the paddock\, or on the tractor rides\, so as to keep our visiting farm animals happy and safe. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome to hang out in the Secret Garden and the rest of the site\, as usual (excl. the shop). \nCan we bring a picnic?\nWe will have food and drink available for sale from our Barn\, Cabin and Garden Kitchen throughout the day. Please don’t bring your own picnics.  However picnic blankets are highly recommended! \nParking\nOur carpark is likely to be exceptionally busy so please avoid driving here unless it’s absolutely necessary. \nCancellations\nRefunds will be permitted until one week prior to the event.
