SUMMARY:CHARITY QUIZ & CURRY in aid of Winsley Acorns Preschool
DESCRIPTION:After a sell out event last year\, we are excited to be welcoming back the brilliant Winsley Acorns Preschool Quiz Night. \nTickets include a veggie curry and flatbreads plus brownie bites for pud\, followed by a brain tingling quiz by Sam from ‘Let’s Get Quizzical’. \nDoors open at 6pm.  Quiz starts at 7pm\, with Music Bingo\, Heads and Tails\, Quiz questions and a raffle.  There will be lots of opportunities to win an array of amazing prizes during our Quiz. \nThe bar will of course be open throughout to help loosen up those brain cells. DESCRIPTION:Join Zoe Clementines for this 2-hour introduction to linocutting\, where you will be carving 5/6 mini square linos to create a multi-block lino print. \nMulti-block printing like this is a really lovely way of working\, as there are numerous ways to print; you can choose different colours for different blocks\, and you can choose different configurations. You can also continue carving more at home and add them to the ones you have already carved. You will leave with your blocks and can continue to play with them at home on paper\, card\, fabric and even in clay. \nBeginner friendly! \n£35pp includes all materials\, tea or coffee and a sweet treat. \nBook directly with Zoe

DESCRIPTION:As summer starts to wind down at the end of September\, we will be preparing to give thanks for a rich & plentiful harvest.\nWhat better way to pay homage to this forthcoming season of abundance\, than with a feast. \nOur three course menu is centred around the beautiful produce harvested from Kate Collyn’s market garden\, and served in one of her magical polytunnels. \nEnjoy a garden inspired cocktail whilst taking a tour around the market garden. Then retire to the polytunnel where we will serve up an array of beautiful dishes shared on long feasting tables. \nA small selection of drinks will be available to buy on the night. \n  \nAt Grown Green\, “We believe wholly in great local food and working with nature to produce the best nutritious fresh fruit\, veg\, salads and herbs\, whilst regenerating the soil and local wildlife\, and capturing as much carbon as we can”. SUMMARY:PAINTING NATURE with Grace
DESCRIPTION:Take a closer look at nature and give watercolour painting a go\, in this social adult session. All levels welcome.\nIn these relaxed sessions\, we will take inspiration from natural objects (provided in the class) and learn how to record what we observe in pencil and paint. \nGrace will guide you through a range of techniques and methods when working with watercolour\, which you can enjoy applying to your own mini-masterpiece throughout the session. \nCompletely relaxed creative environment\, with an opportunity to purchase drinks and snacks. \nAll materials are provided.  Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting painty (though watercolour does wash off). \n  \nABOUT THE ARTIST \nGrace has always been creative\, growing up painting with watercolours on family trips to the Lake District. After spending time working in film and TV art departments in London\, she pursued a career in publishing\, working as an illustrator for a children’s publishing company for several years. \nGrace recently moved to Bath to study Creative Writing. She continues to run her freelance illustration business alongside her studies and loves inspiring others to paint\, especially the natural world\, which she finds beautifully rich in detail.
