LINE UP ClOSE UP
The three piece roots band from Wiltshire will be taking the top spot at The Inn this year.
These guys are effortlessly cool, hip and funky- the moment Jim Blair strikes up the old slide guitar, the heads turn, the feet tap and then the rest of the band storm headfirst into groove.’ – Cleverhead Promotions, Bristol
BROKEN BONES MATILDA
BBM’s music is inspired by Americana and yet deeply rooted in the English countryside. With raspy vocals, melodic harmonies, and an enchanting band, the sound is both innocent and dark.
Rachel Jane “manages to effortlessly leap between a smooth, sultry and expansive sound into a more pop, soulful vibe at moments notice. All backed up by sparkling melodies and hypnotic beats.” – (LovePie). Her music is naturally infused with gospel and soul rhythms as well as R&B and pop influences.
Opening the night will be Essex born Scott Lavene, who sings gutter pop and punk ballads with a nod to Ian Dury, Tom Waits and John Grant.
Scott’s first solo single was played by Steve Lamacq on BBC6 music in June of this year and he had a residency at this years Brighton Fringe.
