As part of our Spring Market on Saturday 21st March, the wonderful Kate Collyns – Head Grower at Grown Green – will be offering a short tour of her field and polytunnels.
For an absolute bargain of just £4, you will get a 45 min tour, a bag of organically grown salad (worth £3 alone), plus a packet of seeds to take home and grow your very own salad.
During the tour Kate will explain which crops are being sown and planted out now, which over-wintered veggies are coming to an end, and what will be coming up in the next few months. You’ll taste some salad leaves and herbs, and then you’ll head on your way with fresh salad bag under arm, and seeds to sow at home.
