Online Shop FAQs

We first opened the doors to our farm shop back in 2008 and we’ve been serving our loyal customers ever since with responsibly farmed, high welfare meat from our own farm, home-grown produce and homemade treats from our kitchen along with the very best local and seasonal produce. 

In March 2020, we launched our online store as another way for our customers to access our produce as a result of the social restrictions put in place. We now offer a click and collect and local delivery service where you can shop our range online, choose your delivery or collection date and time and we’ll hand-pick and pack your order and especially for you. 

Below is a list of our frequently asked questions.

How do I place an order?

 You can browse our range by heading to our online shop. You can navigate around the shop adding items to you basket as you go. When you are ready head to the checkout page where you’ll need to fill in your billing and shipping details, delivery preferences before finally making your payment. 

Do I need to create an account?

Although you can checkout as a guest, we recommend creating an account with us. You will then be able to see previous orders, manage your shipping and billing details along with your account details for future orders.

    What delivery options are there?

    Currently you can utilise our click and collect service or local delivery service. We do also offer national courier for some items like our hampers. We hope to be offering nationwide delivery for some our our fresh produce soon.

      How do I collect my click and collect order?

      When you order, you will receive a confirmation with a mobile number to call. If you are isolating and wish to use our contactless service,  call the number on your confirmation when you arrive and let us know what car you are in, open your boot and we’ll pop your shopping in the boot for you. Otherwise, just head to the farm shop to collect your order. Collection points may change during times of high demand.

      Do you deliver?

      We are currently delivering to local towns and villages to the farm shop on Fridays with a minimum order of £40 and a £5 delivery charge.

      Can I change my order?

      Unfortunately we are unable to allow alterations to your order after it has been placed.

      Can I change my delivery or collection day?

      If we have available collection or delivery slots for your required date we will do our best to change this. Contact hello@hartley-farm.co.uk to find out more.

      Can I place a regular order?

      You can place an order each week, however, we are unable to set up a subscription type service currently.

      Can I order for other people?

      Yes! Due to the volume of orders, it would be very beneficial to you and us to group together with families or neighbours to collate your orders and make one order with us.

      Can I still use my loyalty card?

      If you are shopping in our farm shop you can still use your Hartley Farm Loyalty Card. However, we currently do not have the ability for you to use your loyalty card through our online shop. We are currently working on a separate loyalty system for our online shop and we’ll keep you posted on progress!
