FRESH, FARM TO FORK COOKING
At Hartley, our focus is on cooking fresh, wholesome food that champions the seasons and supports the local farmers, growers and makers behind the ingredients. Being on a farm, we love to embrace and celebrate our surroundings whether that be in our recently converted farm kitchen, The Barn, or grabbing a coffee, cake or gelato served from The Cabin and enjoyed in our beautiful flower garden and paddock.
THE BARN
Welcome to The Barn, the home of our farm kitchen. Just like all farm kitchens up and down the land, it is a place to gather, rest and replenish with good food, friends, and family.
Our menu is seasonal and many of our ingredients are sourced directly from our farm shop. In fact, all of our meat is prepared by our in-house butchers and our beef is from our farm. At the heart of our kitchen is our wood-fired oven serving up pizzas daily.
We serve breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake, and everything in between. The Barn is open from 9 am until 5 pm on Monday to Saturday and 9 am until 4 pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
On the first Friday of every month, we stay open late for pizzas and live music. Live music usually starts from 6.15 pm and finishes at 8 pm. The kitchen stops serving at 7.30 pm. See our sample menu for a taste of Pizza Fridays.

THE CABIN
Our Cabin is open seasonally (usually 10 am until 4 pm on weekends and school holidays) serving freshly ground coffee, homemade cakes, sandwiches, gelato, and all the other essentials to enjoy on the go.
Next to The Cabin is our children’s area with plenty of areas to explore, play and see our pet chickens, ducks, and rabbits go about their day! We have plenty of alfresco seating available in our flower garden and around our kid’s area to rest those weary legs whilst the little ones burn off some steam.
PRIVATE VENUE HIRE
The Barn is also available for hire during the evenings for your own special occasion. We have a number of different options available to make the perfect event for you so please do get in touch if you are thinking about holding an event and need a beautiful, unique location!
Inside The Barn is also a smaller private space “The Snug”. The Snug is perfect for a smaller event or occasion and can seat 20-30 people in various formats. It is also available for hire during the day which makes it the perfect location for working lunches, team meetings, baby showers, birthday lunches, and anything in between. Below are our events menu which can cater for any size event.
