Sponsor a Tree

Planting a tree in your name, a loved one or on behalf of a business is an act that will benefit our local wildlife – and the whole planet – for decades and more, as it captures carbon from the air, and provides food, habitat and shelter for many species. When you sponsor a tree in the new 2024 Grown Green agroforestry system (where rows of trees are planted between long veg beds), your money will help cover the costs to buy the tree, prepare the ground, plant the tree and maintain it for years to come. You’ll be sent an e-certificate with details about the location of your tree and photos, and you can choose a name for the tree to be logged on our register, and published on the Grown Green website.

We’re planning on planting five rows of trees in our new field as we set up the new veg-growing system there, and will be planting the new saplings this February. If you have sponsored a tree and would like to come along to our planned tree-planting day at the end of February, email growngreenveg@gmail.com.

When you get to the checkout, just select ‘click and collect’ and the next available day. You won’t need to collect your tree don’t worry! Kate will then be in touch with all the necessary details. Thanks for your support!
