Well, here we are heading towards the end of another year already. This is certainly the business end of the year for us in the farm shop and all of the efforts in planning and preparation over the last few months culminate in a mad rush towards another Christmas at Hartley Farm.

On Saturday 30th November, our Christmas market kicks off the festivities, with food and drinks demos from Origin Coffee, Simi’s Kitchen and our own head chef Gary Say. There will also be food, craft and gift stalls as well as our own Christmas Market cafe with our mince pies and mulled wine among other festive delights!

Throughout December you can also visit us for your Christmas lunch from our menu now available from the farm shop and our website.  So if you want to celebrate with family, friends or colleagues, book your table now. If you fancy something a bit grander, you can have exclusive hire of our farm kitchen one evening to celebrate in style!

Also, our Christmas order form will be available towards the end of October. From local free-range bronze turkeys from Castlemead Farm to our own grass-fed beef, homemade pies, cheeseboard, mince pies and everything in between. Pick up an order form from the butchers or download a copy online. It features all of our most popular items so get ahead of the crowd and tick another Christmas chore off the list.

Lastly, we were very excited to launch our online shop. It will offer a brilliant range of hampers, which we have curated for our customers including our ‘Hartley Heroes’, as well as hampers for the perfect girls or boys night in! So if you have trouble finding presents for your foodie friends and family we have the answer. We can also offer nationwide delivery if they live further away, how easy could it be! More products will be filling the online shelves soon and we’ll be sure to tell you when!

That’s enough about Christmas for this blog.

All the best,

Tom
