Looking for a fun way to keep the children entertained this summer? Our brand new Little Farmers’ Afternoon Tea has arrived at Hartley Farm, bringing together delicious food, fresh air and a farm adventure the whole family can enjoy.
Created especially for curious little explorers, our afternoon tea is designed to make the most of everything Hartley Farm has to offer. Once they’ve enjoyed their afternoon tea, little farmers can pick up their activity sheet and set off on an adventure around the farm.
Along the way, they’ll follow the trail map, discover clues, feed the chickens and goats, explore the gardens and play area, and finish by collecting a well-earned gingerbread reward. As an added bonus, we’ve also reduced the price of all children’s meals this summer, making it even easier for families to enjoy a day out together.

Book Your Little Farmers’ Afternoon Tea
The Little Farmers’ Afternoon Tea is available throughout the summer holidays.
To book, simply head to our bookings page, choose a lunchtime slot (12-3pm) and remember to add a ‘Little Farmers’ Afternoon Tea’ package to your booking for just £15. Please note, bookings need to be made at least 48 hours in advance.

I can’t get to the bookings page to even find out the price of various things unless I complete the form about your newsletter. I don’t want to sign up for it at present. Can I not sidestep it?

Yes you can absolutely side step this. When the box pops up asking you if you want to sign up for our newsletter, there should be a little x which you press to make the box disappear. Then you can navigate to ‘farm kitchen’ and then ‘book a table’. The Little Farmers Afternoon Tea is £15pp if that helps 🙂
I was very keen to book the Little Farmers’ Afternoon tea package but was very disappointed to discover that it needs 48 hours notice. I would be interested to know why this is required.

As this is a brand new offering, we’ve introduced a 48-hour booking window to make sure we have all the ingredients fresh and in stock, and that our kitchen team has enough time to prepare everything properly.
We want every Little Farmers’ Afternoon Tea to be a special experience and of the highest quality, rather than trying to fit it into what is often a very busy afternoon service. As we see how demand develops, we’ll certainly keep the booking notice under review.
